Richard loves writing. He doesn’t, however, like referring to himself in the third person. So I think I’ll switch to first.
I can’t exactly remember when I decided that I wanted to become a writer — I could probably source it back to my first ever award, back in primary school. I was seven years old and my teacher presented me with my school’s “imagination award”. I think it was less an encouragement of my creativity and more a reference to my penchant for daydreaming (which hasn’t changed); but either way, it got my proverbial juices flowing.
I’m currently working for a finance institution as an online copywriter, having previously worked for them as an instructional writer. But what’s really important is that I love cinema, comic books, people and a good story.
